Good morning All,
I hope everyone is well in Triple owners club world.
I have a Triumph Trident T150 Special, my issue is the central exhaust is in line with the tacho cable , the cable has melted. I have seen a picture of a tacho, see attached, with a right angle drive. Does anyone have information on this. also attached my special.

Your photo can’t be found by me – I wonder if others are unable to see it too. As you have a T150 Special, I wonder where your tacho cable is actually routed. I can only comment therefore on my own machine, a T160.
The T160 has the tacho cable entering by the primary drive. If I have any hot exhaust downpipe contact issues, it’s with the left hand cylinder header pipe. That is avoided by a stiff wire bracket that is mounted via the exhaust box cover bolt which, I believe to be a standard fitting.
